Samsung has unveiled two new PC monitors called SA950 and SA750 in unique designs. Both come with 3D using Samsung’s own 3D glasses.

If you’re looking for something fancy for you desktop Samsung has two new PC monitor ranges lined up for release within a few months. The two new SA950 (that we talked about some days ago, and which now has been confirmed as a monitor) and SA750 monitors are also the first PC monitors from Samsung that utilizes Samsung’s own 3D glasses instead of Nvidia's 3D Vision set.

The SA950 range has a very slim frame and a metallic stand with a tilt function. The monitor is asymmetric, just like previous Samsung monitors such as the 971P and the frame is curved at the bottom. SA750 is also very slim and has a very small stand with a tilt function. The bezel has also been reduced significantly.
Both ranges offer 23 and 27-inch models called S23A750, S23A950, S27A750 and S27A950 and all four have 2D-to-3D conversion built-in.

Expect a 1920x1080 resolution, 2 ms (g2g) response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170/160 viewing angles. Connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort, D-SUB and Dual-link DVI (only SA950). All monitors have TN panels and we expect them to be 120 Hz, even though the lack of Dual Link DVI on the SA750 models seems to contradict that assumption.

HDTV variants
Four HDTV variants of the same monitors will also be released called T23A750 (23-inch), T27A750 (27-inch), T23A950 (23-inch), T27A950 (27-inch).
Samsung’s new 9 series with asymmetric design
These come with similar specs, except for a 5 ms response time. The HDTV versions have added connectivity such as HDMI, USB, RF In, Audio Out, Digital Audio Out (Optical), PC Audio In (Mini Jack), Component In, Composite In and Ethernet. Speakers have been integrated as well.
The 3D-enabled SA750 and S950 ranges will all be available in March 2011. No official prices have been announced.
