Sharp didn’t reveal much at CES 2011 but we know that they have some interesting stuff up their sleeve. Today Sharp has announced their first 2011 flat panel TV range to be called LE830. Sharp LE830 is extremely thin and comes with LED, W-Fi and Smart TV features.

Sharp LE830 is the first 2011 TV to be announced by the Japanese TV manufacturer and it is certainly one to keep an eye on when it hits stores in the end of April. It’s replacing the popular LE820 model from 2010.

Sharp LE830 has a new extremely slim 2.5 cm design made possible with the use of Edge LED. The bezel around the panel has been slimmed down further and Sharp is really going for a minimalistic look here.

It also features Sharps Quattron panel, Wi-Fi and a scanning backlight 200/240 Hz system. The European customers will also be able to enjoy the Time Shift recording capabilities on LE830.

Sharp LE830 will be available in 40, 46, 52 and 60 inches starting from April or May 2011 called 40LE830U, 46LE830U, 52LE830U and 60LE830U. US prices are $1,299, $1,499, $1,899, and $2,799. A 70-inch model will be available in the summer or autumn of 2011.
