Manufacturers are implementing internet functionality but how should consumers control all these multimedia features? TV manufacturers are still struggling to come up with an optimal solution for that.
Therefore a Danish student at Kolding Design School has developed a remote control concept targeted specifically for Internet-enabled TVs. With a oval shape the remote control is operated with a touch-sensitive interface that we know from smartphones.

The remote control is very lightweight and focused on user-friendly and intuitive navigation that makes it easy to rent movies, watch YouTube control and much more.
The final version of the remote control concept will be exhibited at an exhibition on June 24 in Denmark and during the Copenhagen Fashion Week from August 4-7. FlatpanelsHD will try to find out more about the innovative remote control concept during those events.
