LG releases 27” E2770V with LED and 2 HDMI

LG has released a new 27-inch monitor that aims to offer a combined solution for PC and console gaming. The 27-inch E2770V comes with 2 HDMI inputs, which means you can connect it to for example PlayStation 3 gaming consoles. The monitor also comes with LED.

Most PC monitors are optimized for PC usage but LG’s new 27-inch model also allow users to connect Blu-ray players and gaming consoles.

E2770V features a TN panel with LED backlighting for a slimmer design and lower power consumption. LG also mentions a 5 ms (g2g) response time, 1920x1080 resolution and a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The static contrast ratio has not been disclosed.

To ensure optimal gaming performance LG has incorporated a Thru mode that aims to reduce input lag in games.

In addition to the two HDMI inputs, users can connect E2770V to a PC with DVI or D-SUB (VGA).
