Samsung has announced that they plan to debut new 24 and 27 inch monitors with PVA panels and LED backlighting, aimed at graphic artists, photographs and office. The two models will be named S24A650D and S27A650D and are members of Samsung’s SA650 range.

Samsung has released a range of new PC monitors this year and with the SA650 range the Korean electronics maker hopes to please the semi-advanced users. The SA650 monitors come equipped with Samsung’s own PVA panels; now with LED backlighting for lower power consumption.

The bezel is made from black plastic and Samsung has aimed to create a minimalistic look with sharp and defined edges. The stand is rectangular and allow users to tilt, swivel and turn the monitors into 90 degree pivot. Connecitivy includes DVI, DisplayPort and analog D-SUB (VGA).
The 24-inch S24A650D features a 1920x1080 resolution, 8 ms (g2g) response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. A specifications list for the larger 27-inch S27A650D variant has not been announced yet.
Samsung also plans to release a 24-inch variant with built-in speakers called S24A650S.
Samsung SA24A650D, S24A650S and S27A650D will be available later in august with 319, 329 og 399 Euro price tags, respectively.
