AOC presents two IPS monitors

With the launch of 21.5” and 23” models i2252Vwh and i2352Vh, AOC introduces two IPS monitors with promising picture quality and affordable prices.

There are many advantages to the IPS panel technology when compared to the TN panel technology utilized in most monitors today. First of all IPS panels deliver better color reproduction and the viewing angles are wider.

But IPS is not new and has been utilized in professional and semi-professional monitors for years. Now AOC hopes to offer IPS monitors at lower prices to compete with Dell’s popular Ultrasharp models.

The models i2252Vwh and i2352Vh at a glance
Both models come with Full HD panels and LED backlight for lower power consumption. Input connectivity includes VGA, DVI and HDMI, making the monitors well equipped for numerous multimedia sources.

AOC also mentions a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5 ms (g2g) response time, 178/178 viewing angles and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

Both displays will enter the market in the second half of September. Prices have not been determined yet.
