Sony has unveiled their new Blu-ray player with internet access and a range of other features. It comes in black called BDP-S185 and silver called BDP-S186.

Sony introduces their new BDP-S185 Blu-ray player as an affordable way to start enjoying the latest home entertainment and internet features.

Sony continues to support the Blu-ray format that delivers much higher picture quality and sound quality compared to traditional DVDs. It also has the ability to upscale DVD movies for improved quality.

BDP-S185 Blu-ray player is compact, only 290mm wide, and with an elegant black finish (also available in silver as the BDP-S186). Users can also watch movies, music and photos using the USB port.

Sony BDP-S186
Sony will also be released a silver edition called BDP-S186. Specs are identical.
Sony BDP-S185 and BDP-S186 will be available from October 2011. Exact date of availability varies by country but the players will cost around 100 Euro in most countries.
