The solution is really simple. You just plug in the USB dongle to your Boxee Box, plug in your antenna cable to the dongle, and you are all set. The solution makes the Boxee Box one of the few to combine traditional live TV with internet streaming TV such as Netflix, Vudu, Hulu etc.

The USB dongle works with HDTV signals (using ATSC) or unencrypted cable connections (ClearQAM), and Boxee has also included a portable antenna in the package. Boxee says that the USB dongle only works on the Boxee Box and not with the Boxee Media Center software for PC or Mac. There is no mention of a DVR (recording) function either.
