LG has shared a few details about three new IPS monitor ranges. The monitors will be officially unveiled at CES 2012 but we have learned that LG is bringing IPS panels, 3D, and borderless design to the table.
LG DM92, DM82, DM52 & D42
LG just couldn’t wait, and has announced four new monitor ranges, called DM92, DM82, DM52, and D42 ahead of the official CES 2012 show.

DM92 is a “Borderless” monitor with an extremely slim bezel. DM92 is destined to please Eyefinity-users, who seek the slimmest bezel for the most immersive multi-screen setups. DM92 also offers Cinema 3D with cheap polarized glasses, and improved power efficiency compared to typical IPS panels (DM92 also uses IPS). LG also hints at “TV functionality”, which could mean that DM92 has integrated TV tuners. A 27-inch model has been confirmed.

The two cheaper DM82 and DM52 models also come with IPS panels and Cinema 3D capabilities. DM82 even has two 7W speakers built in, and DM52 offers connectivity inputs such as HDMI and USB. DM82 will be available in 23 inches, DM52 in 23 and 27 inches.
Lastly, LG teases a cheap 3D-model called D42 with built-in 2D->3D converter.
Full details will be announced at CES 2012. The monitors will be available from February 2012.
