LG plans to present a gigantic 84-inch 3DTV at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The interesting part is that the TV incorporates Ultra Definition (3840x2160 pixels) resolution.
LG’s 3D Ultra Definition TV
LG will push the 3D technology to new grounds with the combination of Ultra Definition – often referred to as 4K – and 3D in a 84-inch TV.

LG to unveil a 84-inch 4K 3DTV at CES 2012
4K resolution is four times higher than today’s Full HD (1920x1080) TVs and offers over 8 million pixels. LG uses the passive 3D system and even though LG makes no mention of the Cinema 3D technology, we believe that this is indeed based on LG’s Cinema 3D system since the LG’s new 2012 Cinema 3D glasses are shown in the picture.
LG also mentions a narrow bezel design, 2D->3D conversion, Smart TV features with the new Magic Remote and 3D depth control.
The gigantic TV will be exhibited at CES 2012 in Las Vegas for the first time and LG promises a 3D experience second to none. We have not yet been able to confirm if LG plans to sell the TV in 2012. We will keep you updated.
