At CES Samsung exhibited their new soundbars but did not share many details. We have managed to gather some information for you and can tell you more about the HT-E8200 with built-in 3D Blu-ray, wireless subwoofer and Samsung’s Smart TV platform. Another new model is called HW-E550 that can be split into two.
Samsung HT-E8200 sound bar
In 2012 Samsung is releasing a new soundbar optimized for 46-inch TVs. It has a glossy, black plastic encasing and is named HT-E8200.

The sound bar comes with a wireless subwoofer and a combined effect of 400W. It also has 2 HDMI ports with ARC (audio return channel) that allow users to control the volume via the TV remote.
A built-in 3D Blu-ray player is located in the middle. Furthermore, Samsung has incorporated their Smart TV platform, including Smart Hub with tv apps and AllShare, to allow users without a Smart TV to utilize the functions. AllShare enables users to swipe video, pictures and music from a handheld device to the sound bar speakers.
Samsung HW-E550 soundbar
The Samsung HW-E550 sound bar is discreet and flexible. It can be split in two if you prefer two vertical speakers, instead of one horizontal speaker. The two mounting units are included in the box.

HW-E550 also utilizes a wireless subwoofer and features 2 HDMI ports as well as an USB port. A function found in both sound bars, is bluetooth that lets users stream music from a smartphone or tablet directly to the speakers.
At CES 2012 we also saw this soundbar fra Samsung. We have not been able to confirm the model name or specifications.

Another new soundbar from Samsung, - wihtout a model name
The new sound bars will be available later this year. No words on pricing yet. Samsung will also introduce a range of new home cinema systems in 2012.
