Sharp unveiled their new large-size TV line-up at CES 2012 back in January. The 60 and 70-inch 7-series TVs are now rolling out in the US, Sharp says. The TVs boasts an ultra-slim aluminum finish, 3D and SmartCentral.

Sharp has chimed in to let us know that their 7-series TVs are available in the US now. Two models will be available in 60 and 70 inches.

The new TVs come with an ultra-slim, black-brushed aluminum design and Sharp’s updated SmartCentral platform with apps such as Netflix, Hulu, CinemaNow, and Facebook. The Full HD panel is powered by an edge LED solution and also offers 120 Hz and active 3D. Four HDMI inputs and WiFi is integrated as well.

Sharp’s new 8-series TVs will arrive later this month in up to 80” sizes
Sharp’s 8-series TVs will also be available later this month in 60, 70 and 80 inches dubbed LC-60LE847U, LC-70LE847U and LC-80LE844U, respectively. On top of the features found in the 7-series models, Sharp will include the Quad Pixel Plus 2 picture engine and Quattron panels in the 60 and 70 inch versions, and full array LED backlighting and AquoMotion 480 in the 80” version.
Recommended retail prices for the 8-series TVs are; $2,699, $3,799 and $5,999.
