LG introduces a new cloud service, dubbed LG Cloud. LG owners can now upload photos, videos and music directly to the cloud and enjoy the content across their devices. LG Cloud is still beta but offers 50GB in the trial period.

With the new cloud service, LG hopes to improve integration and content sharing between devices. As soon as the user uploads a media file to LG Cloud, it becomes available on other devices.
LG Cloud makes media content available across devices
LG says their cloud service supports all kinds of media files, including video, music, photos and documents. It focuses on streaming instead of downloading, meaning that a Smart TV owner only needs to click play to enjoy content, no downloading time is required. Video codecs are also handled by the server so the user does not need to worry about formats.
It offers 5 GB of free capacity to owners of LG’s smart devices but early birds get 50GB free for six months. LG Cloud works on LG’s Smart TVs, Android smartphones, and PCs. On your LG Smart TV you can download the app through the app store.
LG Cloud is still in beta and only available in the US and South Korea right now. It will expand to the rest of the world next year.
