LG's 47G2 & 55G2 Google TVs coming in May

LG unveiled their Google TVs at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. Now, Reuters reports that LG’s Google TVs will ship in the US from May 21 for $1699 (47”) and $2299 (55”).

LG is the first TV manufacturer to incorporate the new version Google TV into a TV, with the G2 line-up. And they will be hitting stores in the US soon.

At CES, LG unveiled a 47-inch 47G2 and 55-inch 55G2. Later, suggested retail prices of $1699 and $2299 were mentioned, and now Reuters has quoted a LG official as saying that LG’s first Google TVs will ship out from May 21.

LG’s Google TVs come with the new Google TV platform built into LG’s Smart TV platform. Tv apps will be available from the Android Market, and a range of Google services will be available. LG has also developed a new QWERTY Magic Motion remote.
