HP has announced a new line-up of products, including a new 23-inch monitor with IPS panel. The new monitor has been dubbed 2311ix.

New IPS monitors continue to pop up and HP is now introducing a new inexpensive 23-inch monitor with a reasonbale price tag, that should beat all those TN based monitors floating around in the market.

The HP 2311ix uses an IPS panel with 1920x1080 resolution a LED backlight. It has been designed for multimedia and office use but is also suited for photographers. Connectivity includes D-SUB (VGA), DVI and HDMI, enablng users to connect either a PC or game console.

HP 2311ix will be available in stores from the end of June 2012. The suggested retail price is $240.
