The new 60-inch TV comes in a sleek, brushed aluminum design with a swivel base. Despite the large format, the TV only consumes 87 W in use and has an A+ energy rating. One of the reasons is the FRED driving system that allows Sharp to cut down on the required driving components for each pixel, and reach a higher brightness level at lower power consumption levels.
