LG unveiled their new THX certified plasma TVs at CES 2012 in January. The new 2012 plasma TVs have now started appearing in stores and ship out to customers in the US and Europe.

LG’s new plasma TVs are out and they look interesting. The PM9700 (PM970T in Europe) is the new flagship model with 2D & 3D THX certification as well as a new TruBlack filter for improved black depth.

LG is also releasing cheaper plasma ranges such as the PM6700 with the same THX certification but without the TruBlack filter. Most models – except the PA6500 – come with LG’s Smart TV platform and the Magic Remote.
