The three new models are called BD-E8300, BD-E8500 and BD-E8900 and share many similarities. All three support SmartView which allows you to stream TV channels from the player to a smartphone or tablet. It is also possible to watch two different shows on the two screens.
All three players have built-in Blu-ray that supports both 2D and 3D discs, as well as DVD movies and music CDs. Users can also connect a USB device in one of the two USB slots. Most formats are supported, including DivX, avi and mkv. Lastly, Samsung mentions DLNA streaming that allow users to stream video, music and pictures onto the TV screen from other devices in the home.
