Virtual Reality headsets have started popping up again and Sony rides the bandwagon with the Personal 3D Viewer line. The new HMZ-T2 looks largely unchanged but is an overall improvement over last year’s design.

Inside it has two small 0.7” OLED panels. Users can enjoy movies and games in either 2D or 3D and the integrated speaker system creates virtual 5.1 surround sound, Sony says. The display covers 45 degree field of vision.

HMZ-T2 looks largely unchanged but is 20 percent lighter than its predecessor. It now weighs 330 grams and has an adjustable headband.

Sony HMZ-T2 will be available in December.
