Bowers & Wilkins promises greatly improved sound quality, based on a design with 9 speaker units that can reproduce stereo as well as imitated surround sound. The soundbar is driven by six Class D amplifiers that should provide users with a total output of 175W, B&W says. No subwoofer is included in the package but users can buy one of B&W’s subwoofers and add it to the setup.

The soundbar can be connected to the TV via HDMI, which is one of the major advantages compared to the last Panorama product. The soundbar has a total of four HDMI plugs; three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The many HDMI plugs allow users to connect more devices than just a TV, including game consoles, Blu-ray players and more. And volume control can be adjusted with the TV remote when connected via HDMI.
The launch date has not been confirmed yet but the UK price said to be Ł1650 UK pounds and the US price is said to be around $2200 US dollars.
