What is an Android monitor? Well, according to ViewSonic it is a standard PC monitor that doubles as an Android tablet due to the touch screen.

When you are too lazy to turn on your PC you just jump into the Android OS. That is the promise. And if you want flexibility on your desktop it might just work even though it sounds strange at first.

The monitor is a typical 22-inch TN based monitor with Full HD resolution and 5 ms (g2g) response time. It can be connected to a PC via HDMI. It also has 3 USB inputs.

The Android part is based on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. ViewSonic has also included a 1.3 megapixel camera, speakers, Ethernet, WiFi and a SD card slot so you can benefit from all the Android cloud or app features. Android is powered by a dual-core CPU.
