5 years of TV design - Loewe

In a historical perspective, the flat panel TV is still a relatively new thing, even though most of us own one or maybe even a few. But how did our TVs look 5 years ago? In a series of galleries FlatpanelsHD takes a look at 5 years of TV design by every major TV maker. Last time we featured Samsung. Today we look at Loewe.

Every Friday FlatpanelsHD takes a look a TV makers’ design tradition. Check back in again on next Friday.

Loewe: 5 years of television design

German Loewe creates exclusive products, including TVs, and is seen as the direct competitor to Bang & Olufsen. Instead of pumping out entire lines of new TVs every years Loewe has fewer more distinct TV lines that are updated when necessary.

Loewe is known for TVs such as the Art, Xelos and Connect ranges. 5 years ago we started seeing Loewe’s individualize concept that enables users to customize the design and during the Gallery you will notice how the concept has been expanded over the years with the introduction of the Individual and Connect ID ranges that are more flexible, simple and elegant than ever.

Loewe’s latest TV is called the Reference ID and is the culmination of the individualize concept as it allows you to change the front, backside, frame, front speaker fabric and much more. What is next for Loewe?

Go to the Gallery section and see 5 years of Loewe TV design, and come back every Friday to see new galleries.
