Dell has announced the details of their latest Ultrasharp monitor. The new 24-inch U2413 and is the next version after the U2412M. It features an AH-IPS panel with 1920x1200 pixel resolution and is factory calibrated to please photographers and graphic artists.

We already knew it was coming but Dell China has now officially unveiled the new Dell U2413 monitor. One of the big questions was if Dell would stick with the 16:10 format, and they have. U2413 has an IPS panel with a 1920x1200 pixel resolution.

The monitor is aimed at photographers, graphic artists and discerning users. It has been factory calibrated for the AdobeRGB and sRGB color gamuts. The IPS panel supports up to 99% of the AdobeRGB gamut and even has a 14-bit LUT (look-up table), which is a first for Dell. It will help improve color gradation. An X-rite i1 Display Pro calibrator is available as an optional upgrade.

The design is largely unchanged and features height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustment. You can also wall-mount the monitor. Input connectivity includes DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and mini-DisplayPort as well as a 4 port USB hub, with 2 USB inputs located on the left side.
No official prices for USA and Europe have been announced but we expect to hear more about the U2413 soon.
