LG unveiled its first OLED-TV at CES 2012 a year ago in January 2012. After one year it is ready. It starts shipping out to customers in South Korea for approximately 10,000 USD.
First OLED-TV finally available
Samsung and LG announced the first OLED-TVs at last year’s CES show but production issues have delayed the launch. After one year LG is ready and promises to ”ramp up quickly”.

LG’s OLED-TV will be available next month
The TV will be called 55EM9700 and comes with Smart TV, Cinema 3D and much more. It is just 4 millimeters in depth and weighs just 10 kilograms.
LG’s OLED-TV is up for pre-order in over 1,400 stores in South Korea and the first TVs will arrive in the first week of February. We have no details on the US launch date but LG UK says that the TV should be available in the first quarter of 2013.
