We had already heard the rumors but at CES 2013 Samsung officially revealed two new Ultra HD TVs. One measuring 85 inches and another one measuring impressive 110 inches.
Samsung’s 85 & 110 Ultra HD TVs
Ultra HD is the next step after Full HD and Samsung rides that wave together with LG and Sony. Today, Samsung unveiled impressive 85 and 110” Ultra HD TVs.

Ultra HD – or 4K – has four times the pixel count as Full HD that is used in pretty much all TVs today. The much higher resolution can enable stunning picture quality – if the movie also comes in 4K resolution, that is.

The TV range is called S9000 and the design is unique. It is mounted on a stand but is still huge – obviously. A new picture technology that Samsung calls ”Precision Black Pro” improves black depth and Samsung has also implemented a 2.2 stereo system (two speakers and two subwoofers). All the Smart TV features are naturally also implemented.
FlatpanlesHD was present at the launch and took a bunch of pictures. Below you see one. The picture clarity on the huge TV was stunning.
