Super HD on Netflix
FlatpanelsHD had a chance to interview a Netflix executive in Las Vegas today. The full interview will be online later. Netflix also demonstrated its new Super HD picture quality level that is rolling out now.

Netflix introduces Super HD picture quality level
Super HD offers the highest level of picture quality available on Netflix – if your internet connection is fast enough. Super HD also replaces the X-High level and according to Netflix it will offer better picture quality due to the more efficient compression algorithm.
Super HD has a bitrate of around 6 Mb/s.
Netflix is also testing 3D in the US with a bitrate of up to 12 Mb/s, and they also have other new features and ideas that we will tell you more about in the later interview. Stay tuned!
