BenQ announced its first “flicker-free” monitor just recently and they have another 24-inch monitor coming out with an IPS panel soon. It is called BL2411PT.

Unlike BenQ’s first flicker-free monitor - the 27-inch W2760HS - the new 24-inch BL2411PT uses an IPS panel.

The new flicker-free monitor no longer uses PWM for the LED backlight as it can cause eye fatigue. This should make the monitor ideal for workstations or even home offices.
The monitor boasts a 1920x1200 resolution, 5 ms (g2g) response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178/178 viewing angles. The base offers tilt, height, swivel and pivot adjustment. BenQ has also incorporated a light sensor and 2x1W speakers.
BenQ BL2411PT has been confirmed for Europe. The monitor will be released later in April at a suggested retail price is 300 Euro. More information can be found at www.benq.com.
