Philips has announced two new 27-inch PC monitors; one for professional users and one for consumers. Both come PLS panels, a camera, a microphone and MultiView.
Philips launches two new 27 "monitors
Philips’ two new 27" monitors, called P4 (professional) and C4 (consumer) have been unveiled. They both use a so-called PLS panel that has the same picture characteristics as IPS panels. PLS panels are characterized by wide viewing angles and accurate color reproduction. The monitors also offer a 2560x1440 pixel resolution and edge-lit LED.

Philips C4 for consumers
The monitors have more simularities than differences. Both can be connected to a PC with DVI, HDMI (2 inputs) or DisplayPort, and both come equipped with a built-in camera, a microphone and MultiView. MultiView allows you to view two screens side-by-side.

Philips P4 for professionals
The main differences are that P4 has been optimized for professional work that requires more accurate colors. Philips says that it is optimal for CAD, CAM, photo editing and other graphics tasks. The professional model also has more ergonomic adjustment options. It can be lowered all the way down to the table.
Philips 272P4QPJKEB (for professionals) is in stores now and 272C4QPJKAB (for consumers) will arrive later in April or May.
