Sony releases 65 & 55" 4K TVs in stores

Sony’s 65 and 55 inch 4K TVs have become available in US stores, starting at less than 5000 USD. This marks Sony’s major push into 4K resolution.Sony releases 4K TVs in stores
Late last year LG and Sony released its 84-inch 4K HD TVs and Sony has now releases its smaller 4K TVs.
The two 65 and 55 inch models come with 4 times more pixels than Full HD panels and Sony also highlights highlights other new picture quality improvements such as the Triluminous panel that can display the wider gamut used on the new Mastered in 4K Blu-rays and an X-Reality 4K chip that can upscale non-4K content.
Sony’s two Ultra HD TVs are now available in stores
The TVs obviously offer access to online services such as Netflix, YouTube and more, as well as passive 3D technology and a powerful, integrated magnetic fluid 2-way sound system.

No 4K players exist yet but later this year we will Sony will release its PlayStation 4 and its first 4K media player. Microsoft will also support 4K video with Xbox One and RED has its Redray player coming out.
