Asus has announced a new 31.5-inch monitor with a LCD panel based on IGZO TFTs that enables higher pixel density. The monitor has an incredible 3840x2160 pixel resolution.
Update: It will cost approximately $4.000 USD, says Asus.

Asus’ latest monitor seems to be utilizing Sharp’s IGZO panel and is a remarkable screen.

With a display resolution of 3840x2160 pixels – also called 4K – it has four times more pixels than a traditional Full HD monitor. In addition, Asus says that you can expect moderate power consumption based on the LED backlight as well as 10-bit color support and 99% Adobe RGB support. The monitor can be connected via one of the DisplayPort or 2 HDMI inputs.

The monitor also has ergonomic adjustability options, including height, swivel, tilt and pivot, and it is compliant with the VESA wall mounting standard. 2W stereo speakers are also built in.
Asus PQ321 will be officially unveiled at Computex in June. No words on pricing or release date yet.
