The 90-inch TV is based on Sharp's X-Gen 3D panel and has a powerful picture processor. The panel uses Full HD resolution and Sharp has implemented its Active Motion 200Hz system to improve motion reproduction. The TV also supports active 3D.
Sharp has dubbed the TV LC-90LE757 and implemented its Aquos NET+ platform with TV apps and access to streaming services such as Skype. The TV can also be controlled form an Apple or Google-based smartphone or tablet, by using the AQUOS Remote Lite app.
The 90 inch TV is a mammuth and measures about 1.2 meters in height and 2 meter in width. It weighs ”just” 65 kg so it can easily be wallmounted. Sharp says that despite the massive panel the TV is still labeled A++ energy rating, due to the LED system.
Sharp LC-90LE757 is available in Europe now. It is not identical to the US version.
