Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will go on sale on November 22nd in 13 countries. The announced $499 price tag has also been re-confirmed.

We knew that the Xbox One was coming in November, but Microsoft has now specified the date as November 22nd, which means that it will arrive one week later than Sony’s PlayStation 4 in USA, but earlier in Europe.

Gamers in 13 countries will be able to buy the console on launch day: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, the US, and New Zealand. However, it is still delayed until early 2014 in eight European countries.
Included in the $499 price is a single controller, the Kinect, and a headset for chatting with friends. 23 games will be available on launch day.
