Apple has unveiled a new iPad Mini, which will be available alongside the existing iPad Mini. The new one has a Retina display with 2048x1536 pixels.

Apple launched the first iPad with a Retina display with the iPad 3. Now the iPad Mini will also be available with the impressive display with pixels so small that they are not discernible to the human eye.
The screen in the new iPad Mini has 2048x1536 pixels, which is the same resolution as the larger iPad. But because the display in iPad Mini is smaller it actually has a higher pixel density of 326 ppi (pixels per inch). An A7 processor will power the new tablet. Apple did not mention anything about color reproduction, and is is not clear if the new display will support full sRGB colors. When the iPad 3 was introduced with a Retina display it also moved to full sRGB color support.
The iPad Mini with Retina display will be available this November for $399 with 16GB storage. It will cost $499, $599 and $699 for the 32, 64 and 128GB versions, respectively.
