If you own a Slingbox, such as the Slingbox 500 or 350, you can now stream the TV channels wirelessly to your TV via the Apple TV with Airplay. Cord-cutters rejoice.
Airplay support for Slingbox announced
The Slingboxes can stream all your TV channels at home to your internet-connected devices all around the world. And the latest update should please Apple users. The new Airplay feature could prove helpful, not only outside your home, but also on a secondary TV in the bedroom or summer homes.

The Slingbox 350
Airplay lets you wirelessly beam live TV channels to the TV screen via the Apple TV box. The Airplay feature has been enabled in the app for iPad and iPhone with the latest update. A limited Airplay feature was available in the past, but the new one is full Airplay support, where the Apple TV overtakes the stream directly to the Sling Media’s servers. You need a Slingbox 500, Slingbox 350, Slingbox PRO-HD and Slingbox SOLO box to take advantage of Airplay.
Other new features include a My Media feature that lets you stream media files on a PC/Mac from an USB hard drive or a USD stick connected to the Slingbox at home. The My Media feature is also coming to iOS and Android. For US users Blockbuster On Demand integration has also been announced.
