Google’s Chromecast launched with only a few services, but more have come onboard in recent months. The latest update adds 10 new apps, including Plex, Vevo, and Red Bull.TV.
Chromecast gets 10 new TV apps
Chromecast is still limited in scope, but it is getting better. After adding Hulu Plus, Pandora, and HBO GO, 10 new apps have activated Chromecast support.
The most notable additions are Plex, the media server solution, Vevo, the music video service, and Red Bull.TV, the extreme sports streaming service.

Other new services include Songza, Washington PostTV, RealPlayer Cloud, Avia, Revision3, Viki, and BeyondPod. The total list of Chromecast apps now counts 17. However, there is still no word on Amazon Instant or the many sports apps that are available on Apple TV.
The Chromecast is still only officially available in the US, but an international roll-out is imminent, according to sources. Read our Google Chromecast review here
