Next year's Samsung Smart TVs will feature a high-precision camera system that lets users control the TV with finger gestures, Samsung teases before the official unveiling of the 2014 TVs in Las Vegas.

The system lets you pause a movie or TV show by doing a counterclockwise spin with one of your fingers. It is also possible to change the channel and adjust audio volume, says Samsung who believes that it is a more intuitive system than today's gesture implementations.
The South Korean manufacturer also promises improvements and refinements of its integrated voice control system. It will be extended from 11 languages ​​in 2013 to 23 languages ​​in 2014, and Samsung says that it will be easier to change the channel or get relevant information by using natural language. Samsung will continue to develop and improve the systems in the coming years, despite the lackluster reception by customers.
