Seiki Pro Ultra HD TVs announced
People began noticing Seiki in 2013 because of their inexpensive 4K TVs. In a time where major TV brands commanded high premiums for 4K TVs, Seiki told the consumers that 4K TVs did not have to be expensive – and it worked. Seiki has seen success and many consumers have also found the TVs useful as monitors.

In the second quarter of 2014, Seiki will release a new range of four Pro-labeled 4K TVs models, ranging from 55 to 85 inch sizes. Seiki’s current line-up of 4K TVs will continue in 2013, but the Pro 4K models will be the first to offer HDMI 2.0 support via a later software update, explains Seiki. HDMI 2.0 will allow the TVs to accept 4K signals at 60 frames per second. The Pro models also feature improved 4K processing and upscaling.
And the best part is the pricing. Seiki current 4K TVs will drop in price, and the new Pro line-up will start at $1299 for the 55” version (SE55UY06). The 58” (SE58UY06), 65” (SE65UY06), and 85” (SE85UY06) will sell for $1599, $2199, and $7999, respectively. The Pro 4K TVs will launch in the second quarter of 2014.
