Eizo’s ColorEdge line is well-known and respected by many professionals, and with the two new 24-inch CG247 and CX241 monitors Eizo wants to improve things further. Both monitors can reproduce AdobeRGB and Eizo is introducing a cloud-based color solution.
Two new ColorEdge monitors
The two new ColorEdge monitors both feature high-end IPS panels with 99% of AdobeRGB and 100% sRGB gamut coverage. The CG247 has a built-in calibration sensor that automatically calibrates the monitor.

Eizo is targeting professionals in photographers, prepress, video editing, and post production. Eizo says that the ColorEdge models offer very accurate colors and true 10-bit LCD panels that rely on 16-bit internal look-up tables.
The CG247 has a 3D look-up table designed for optimal video editing, too. It even has a feature to apply a film look to video so editors can preview how the video would be seen by their audience. It supports Rec709, EBU, SMPTE-C, and DCI color gamuts.

You can connect the monitors with DisplayPort, HDMI or DVI, and there are also ergonomic adjustability options available.
Eizo is also introducing a cloud-based color control system called ColorNavigator NX. Via a web-hosted solution administrators can quality control all monitors in an office or working environment across cities and countries.
The ColorEdge CG247 and CX241 are now shipping from your local retailer. More information is available at www.eizo.com.
