Finlux hopes to appeal to 4K TV buyers with a new range of TVs. The new 50 and 65-inch 4K TVs are cheaper than most brand-name TVs in the market, but the 84-inch version is not just expensive, but also looks very, very familiar.
Finlux finds inspiration in Samsung
Finlux has announced a new range of 4K TVs that will debut in select countries, including the UK. The 50-inch 4K TV will sell for Ł2000 and the 65-inch will sell for Ł3000. All the TVs are equipped with HDMI 2.0 ports.
Despite being a small player in the TV market, Finlux wants to sell a high-end 4K TV, too. The new 84-inch 4K TV will set you back Ł15000, but the most remarkable thing about the new TV is probably that it looks like an almost exact copy of Samsung’s S9 “Easel” TVs – just with a different speaker system. Samsung calls it “an easel stand”, Finlux bites back with “easel-like stand”. Fascinating.
Finlux will also be releasing new 32, 42, and 50” Full HD TVs with Smart TV features and access to apps such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube and TuneIn Radio.
