Graphics monitors are often expensive, but BenQ believe that they can at least satisfy some of the needs with a cheaper 32-inch BL3200PT monitor. It will be available this month for around 600 Euro.
For graphic artists and designers
BenQ's new monitor is aimed at professional graphics work such as CAD and CAM and color work. It uses a flicker-free LED backlight, which reduces eye strain after prolonged use.
BL3200PT uses a 2560x1440 pixel resolution on a 32-inch AMVA+ panel, which is a variant of the VA panel. BenQ says that it can reproduce 100 % of the sRGB color space, but not the AdobeRGB gamut that some tasks require.
Special features for graphic design
BenQ highlights two features called Animation mode and Presentation Mode. The former lets you increase brightness in the dark areas of the image in 10 steps without overexposing the rest of the image to check for errors and details.
Presentation Mode imitates a projector so you can optimize your work for the big screen.
The monitor is also heights adjustable and has a pivot function that lets you rotate it 90 degrees.
BenQ BL3200PT will be available later this month for around 600 Euro.
