NanoTech announced plans to launch a 4K streaming player last year, and UltraFlix will be the service that streams 4K content to the box. The company says that UltraFlix will have over 200 titles in 4K, with more incoming. UltraFlix is also coming to Smart TVs and other 4K streamers.
UltraFlix coming to Smart TVs, too
NanoTech wants to make UltraFlix the best streaming service for 4K content - a bold plan considering who they are up against. Netflix has already started streaming in 4K, but NanoTech says that they have far more content.

UltraFlix will offer over 100 hours of free content in 4K and over 200 titles in movies, comedy, sports, concerts, TV shows, and events. Few blockbuster movies will be available from the beginning, but you can look forward to Oblivion, Freeway, Basil, Return of Superfly, Tibet: Beyond Fear, Valhalla, Way of the Ocean: Australia and several concerts by Sony Music.
- "We're committed to making UltraFlix the industry's digital ‘go-to' 4K smart TV app for every major 4K TV platform," said Aaron Taylor, NanoTech's executive VP of sales and marketing. "In the last two months alone, the UltraFlix library has dramatically expanded from 50 to over 200 4K offerings”
NanoTech calls UltraFlix the largest library of 4K content. It will be available on the Nuvola NP-1 streaming box that will launch later this quarter for $299. The company is also working on bringing UltraFlix to Ultra HD TVs and other 4K streamers via an app later this year.
