Along with BeoVision Avant, Bang & Olufsen is launching a new TV remote called BeoRemote One. This is a new beginning and it starts with a remote in an aluminum design with small display at the top. B&O is also introducing MyButtons.
BeoRemote One
From now on you will refer to Bang & Olufsen's remote as a BeoRemote.
The One has an elongated design that resembles the Beo4, but it holds so many new features that Bang & Olufsen calls it a new beginning. It is made from a single piece of aluminum with rounded corners underneath so it is easy to pick up and more defined upper edges.

The buttons are black and the upper part integrates a small display with visual icons.
Nostalgia replaced by MyButtons
A.MEM, V.MEM and other well-known B&O functions are gone and replaced with new TV and Music buttons, but the MyButton is the true novelty. The three MyButtons can be programmed to a variety of scenarios. For example, you can make the TV go directly to the Spotify app at a predefined volume level and a make the TV turn into position for the optimal music experience with a press of a single button.

B&O explains that the MyButtons are extremely easy to set up. Just hold down the MyButton when you wish to set up a scenario. The MyButton will remember exactly how the TV was playing with all relevant settings at that specific time.
The new BeoRemote One can control your legacy B&O products and can also be programmed to control devices from other manufacturers; for example the Apple TV that has a dedicated slot on the backside of the new BeoVision Avant.
The BeoRemote One comes bundled with BeoVision Avant. It will also be available to buy separately at a later point.
