Asus has an inexpensive 28-inch 4K monitor coming out, but they will also release a larger 32-inch version with a quality IPS panel. The PA328Q will be released in Q4 of 2014.
One of the first with HDMI 2.0
A flurry of new 4K monitors with inferior TN panels are rolling out now, but 4K monitors with quality panels are also in the roadmap. Asus’s PA328Q uses a 32-inch IPS panel.

It offers a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and comes pre-calibrated from the factory. It is aimed at professional use such as CAD/CAM, graphics and more. It will feature a DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort, 1xHDMI 2.0, and 2xHDMI 1.4 ports, as well as four USB 3.0 and an earphone jack.
The new monitor is part of Asus’s ProArt line-up, also offering a slim-bezel design with several ergonomic adjustments, including tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment.
Asus PA328Q will be available in the fourth quarter of 2014, but no price information has been announced yet.
