Pretty much every monitor maker has announced a 4K PC monitor by now, and Philips is the latest to unveil a 28-inch 4K monitor based on an affordable TN panel. The monitor is called 288P6LJEB.
4K monitor from Philips
The Philips monitor builds on a TN panel with 3840x2160 pixels, like most of the other affordable 4K monitors. TN panels are generally not recommended for most professional tasks such as photography and graphics.

It supports 60 Hz from a PC and according to Philips it is great for gaming with its 1 ms (g2g) response time. Other specs include 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 170/160 degree viewing angles, so very typical for a monitor with a TN panel.
Connections include DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI, and D-SUB (VGA) as well as two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. It also has integrated speakers. The stand lets you adjust height, tilt, rotation, and pivot. There is also a cable management system on the back.
Philips 288P6LJEB will be available this summer for around 600 Euro.
