LG will launch its amazing 4K OLED TVs in October, the company has confirmed. 65” and 77” models will be available for Ł5,999 and Ł19,999, respectively.
4K OLED TVs coming in October
LG will most likely be the first to launch a 4K OLED TV when the company releases its 65” and 77” OLED TVs in October – around one year after the first demonstration at IFA 2013 in Berlin.
These TVs could very well set the new bar for picture quality. 4K resolution combined with perfect blacks, near-perfect viewing angles, vibrant colors and ultra-fast response time will surely impress even enthusiasts.

The TVs will also feature LG’s new webOS platform that offers TV apps, live TV and games, and a much improved user interface with a focus on simplicity. Additionally, LG highlights HDMI 2.0 and HEVC, which means that they will be able to stream Netflix 4K. The TVs will also offer 3D capabilities based on the cheap 3D glasses you know from the movie theatre.
At the moment LG has only confirmed suggested retail prices for the UK market. The 65” 65EC970V will cost Ł5,999 and the 77” 77EC980V will cost Ł19,999. The TVs will also be available in the US and other European countries this fall.
