LG promised to launch new OLED TVs in 2014 at CES, and here is the new Full HD model. The 55-inch 55EC9300 has a new minimalistic design and webOS; LG’s new promising Smart TV platform. It will cost $3,499.

Just yesterday, we reported that LG’s first 4K OLED TV will ship in September for $6,999. LG is also launching a new 55-inch Full HD OLED TV and you will be able to pick it up for $4,999, starting next month.
The 55EC9300 (55EC930V in Europe) is the successor to the current 55EA9800. It has a refreshed design without the transparent plastic base. It also has a faster 240 Hz refresh rate, which should improve motion reproduction and a slightly higher brightness level.
In addition, the OLED TV has webOS, which is LG’s new Smart TV platform. webOS offers TV apps such as Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. Simplicity has been a key focus area and LG believes that webOS will take Smart TVs to the next level. Other media features include Miracast screen mirroring and the motion-enabled Magic Remote.
