Samsung wants to sell you even bigger TVs for the living room, and walking around at IFA you quickly realize just that. In addition to launching new larger TVs in its existing TV ranges, Samsung has also unveiled two impressive 105-inch TVs.
Big TVs from Samsung
In the old days you had to look to Sony or Bang & Olufsen for exclusive high-end TVs, but nowadays the Koreans continue to push the boundaries.
As we recently wrote, Samsung has a new 85-inch Ultra HD TV coming out in the flat HU8550 / HU7500 range. It is available now in the US and across Europe. Samsung has also just released a 78-inch version of the curved HU900 / HU8500 range.

And Samsung has even bigger TVs coming out. At the IFA show, Samsung has unveiled two 105-inch TVs. One of them is permanently curved and the other one can bend, going from flat to curved by the push of a button. The TVs use the extremely wide 21:9 aspect ratio, which is also used in movie theaters, and has about eleven million pixels (5120x2160).
Combined with a powerful sound system and an elegant design, Samsung is trying to appeal to the true luxury segment.
