Amazon promised to bring the Fire TV streamer box to the UK, and it has now delivered on its promise. The Fire TV is available now from its online store for Ł79 pounds.
Fire TV comes to the UK
The small black Fire TV box has built-in apps for Netflix, Youtube and other streaming services as well as games. One of the highlights is also a functional voice search feature. However, it is still limited to a select few apps.
Amazon promises to launch the Fire TV box in Europe after the US launch in April this year. Amazon has also promised to launch the streamer box in Germany and on Amazon.de it is listed with a December 13 launch date.
Amazon Fire TV is available in the UK now from the Amazon store for Ł79
with free delivery. The game controller is available for Ł35.
