According to a leak from Energy Star, Dell is working on a new 25-inch monitor with 2560x1440 pixel resolution and a very thin frame. It is expected to launch within months.
A 25-inch Dell U2515H
On the Energy Star certification site, U2515H is said to feature a TN panel, but that would be a departure from Dell’s trajectory and a major step back. Instead, TFTCentral expects it to feature an IPS panel with sRGB colors from LG.Display. If that is accurate it will also feature a very thin bezel like some of the other recent Dell monitors.
The U2515H is confirmed to have 2560x1440 pixels, but little else is known besides that. Dell usually introduces "next year’s" monitor in the second half of the previous year, so the “15” could very well be launched within months. It has been approved for sale in the US, Europe, Australia, Canada and parts of Asia.
