Panasonic vowed to bring Netflix 4K streaming to its AX800 Ultra HD TV earlier this year, and this week it has made good on its promise. You just need to update the Netflix app.
Netflix 4K on Panasonic AX800
Panasonic launched the AX800 without support for 4K Netflix, but later promised an update. That firmware update is now available for US owners of the AX800. Europeans will have to wait until next month for the update.

Netflix currently streams House of Cards season 2, Breaking Bad, a few movies and some nature documentaries in 4K resolution. All future originals from Netflix will be shot in 4K, including the Marco Polo TV series that will debut on the service in December. In addition, you need the $11.99 plan from Netflix, unless you subscribed before September this year, and a 16 Mb/s internet connection or faster.
Panasonic will also bring 4K streaming from Netflix to its more expensive AX900 model when it launches next month, but the AX630 is not invited to the party since it lacks HEVC decoding.
